Tom Salutz, Managing Director
Tom co-founded DataCo in 1993 and has a keen ability to apply the latest tools, thinking and methodologies to solve business issues in a practical manner. Over the last two decades, Tom has worked with direct-response agencies, financial marketers and technology industries to build a variety of models, develop databases and create many types of statistical and analytical tools. One of Tom's greatest strengths is his ability to support business strategies by converting sophisticated analytical output into executable, measurable marketing tactics.

Education: MBA Finance, DePaul University; BSE Industrial Engineering, University of Michigan

Gary Mayer, Managing Director
Gary has been responsible for implementing key databases and support tools in the marketing analytics field for most of his career. Prior to joining DataCo in 2000, he held senior positions at Sears Roebuck and The Signature Group, and led the implementations of enterprise-wide data warehouses and Customer Relationship Marketing data marts. Gary brings deep experience in financial valuation to measure impact on performance.

Kathy Lambert, Director
Kathy's career has largely revolved around applying technology solutions to solve both internal and external client issues. She has well-rounded experience in product management, sales, telemarketing management and business systems, implementing the right strategic tools to help clients sell more. Kathy is particularly strong at making complex analytics business-friendly.

Tom Koeppen, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing Strategy
Tom is a marketing strategist with excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills. He has been responsible for business development, account management, product development, and/or enhancement marketing for companies such as GE Capital, Citi, Follett Higher Education, HSBC, and SPS Payment Systems. Tom consistently demonstrates an ability to synthesize large amounts of information to recommend an effective plan of action.

Education: MBA, DeVry University; BS Marketing, Northern Illinois University

Bernie Silverman, Vice President of Market Research
Bernie is a master of market research. He has conducted strategic and tactical research initiatives for many large organizations, including The Signature Group, Zurich American, Customer Development Corporation, MarketUSA and Maritz. Bernie is able to integrate qualitative and quantitative techniques to deliver solutions that maximize ROI for clients. Since 1980, Bernie has been an Adjunct Professor in the MBA program at Benedictine University.

Education: Ph.D. Social Psychology, Michigan State University

Kara Parde, Senior Relationship Manager
Kara spent over ten years at National Bank of Commerce, directing credit card marketing and the conversion to a data warehouse platform to serve marketing and operational needs for NBC's Bankcard Division. With her extensive knowledge, Kara provides a full range of customer lifecycle consulting to our clients, including direct marketing solicitations, attrition tracking, profitability analyses and retention activities.

Education: BA in Business Administration & Communication, Doane College

Lee Baker, Senior Analyst
Lee has more than 16 years analytical experience in the financial services, telecommunications and publishing industries. As the leader of modeling groups at Trans Union and HSBC, Lee collaborated with business partners to deliver custom marketing solutions. He has a knack for turning complex, impenetrable data into useful insights. Lee is a confessed bibliophile, board game aficionado and macho gardener.

Education: MS Applied Statistics, DePaul University; BS Mathematics, Iowa State University

Marissa Weil, Senior Analyst
Marissa has a strong background in developing and maintaining applications to support financial services, retail, direct mail, healthcare and other industries. During her career, she has consistently demonstrated an ability to go beyond delivering the technical solution. Marissa looks for reasons why and she excels at getting the job done efficiently, without sacrificing quality.
